Shree Samsthan Gokarna Partagali Jeevottam Matha is one of the branches of the Vedanta Empire where The Hamsa Namaka Paramatma, doorvasa, and many great saints and seers have decorated the Glorious Parampara. On the auspicious day of Chaitra Shukla Tratiya of Shree ShalivahanaShaka 1397th Manmatha Nama Samvatsara, a Gouda Saraswat Brahmin vatu named “Madhava” took sanyasa deeksha with the name Shree Narayana Teertha at Shree Badari Kshetra and thereby became the first Yati of Shreemadhva Vaishnava lineage among the Gouda
Saraswat Brahmin community.

Determined to guide the shishya vrunda to follow the directions of Shastras and Dharma to become Parama Vaishnavas under the shadow of a huge tree Like Gurupeetha, our first guru Shree Narayana Teertha Swamiji, served the Lord Shree Ramdeva who is the inspiration and reason behind the existence of the Tree itself. Parampoojya Swamiji sowed the seed of this GuruParampara and dedicated all their life to the upliftment of the society.

All Swamijis in this Peetha Parampara, from Shreemad Shree Vasudev Teerth Swamiji to Shreemad Shree Vidyadhiraj Teerth Swamiji have served to make this seed grow into a big tree with their study and preachings of Vishnu Sarvottamatva, have found true happiness in performing Jyana Yajna at the Lotus feet of Prabhu Shree Ramachandra.

As a result of hard work done by all the Swamijis in this Peetha Parampara, the seed which was sown 550 Years ago has now grown into a huge tree. Shree Ramadeva himself resides within this Tree. The teachings of Vishnu Sarvottamatva and Vayu Jeevottamatva form the root of this tree. Scholarly works created to spread the knowledge on Madhwashastra, on the basis of the above Tattva act as light-water-soil and have contributed to the continuous growth of the Tree. Various Shaka Mathas of this Samsthan have grown as branches from the strong stem resisting any malicious attempt by Doorvadis. The leaves grown with the help of the branches form the Disciples of Shree Samsthan. As a result of all the efforts, the Gouda Saraswat Samaj has been truly blessed and bearing the fruits in the form of Guru Updesh for many centuries.

Due to the penance of all Swamijis in this Parampara, this tree keeps growing and has already 33 branches(Shaka Mathas) and thousands of Shishyas. On Shreeman Shalivaahanashakha 1947, Chaitra Shudha Dweetiya of Shree Vishwavasu nama samvatsara, this tree will be completing 550 years.

The Adored deity at Shree Samsthana, the one who resides within Swamijis of this lineage, Prabhu Ramachandra has looked after the development of the Samsthana. Lord of the universe, Prabhu Ramachandra has been very kind and has showered his blessings on the Samsthana. In remembrance of the kindness and help showered upon by Prabhu Ramachandra in the past 550 years and to seek blessings such that the fame of the Samsthan to reach greater heights in the future, Parampoojya Shreemad Shree Vidyadheesh Teerth Shreepad Wader Swamiji have directed all the Shishyavarga to chant the Kaliyuga’s easiest and yet very powerful Mantra 550 Crore times.

This is the first such Shree Rama nama Trayodahskshara Mantra Japa Abhiyaana, which has to complete the Target of 550 Crores in 550 Days. The Japa Abhiyana starts on 17-04-2024 and goes on till 18-10-2025.

The upadesh of Shree Rama Nama Tarak Mantra has been given by Parampoojya Shree Shreemad Vidyadheesh Teerth Swamiji on the auspicious day of Shree Rama Navami on 17-04-2024, at Shree Rama Mandir Wadala.
